MCEC PRAYERS
Pray for Wanda Roth Amstutz as she is installed as pastor at Waterloo-Kitchener United Mennonite Church. Wanda and the congregation begin their ministry together on November 17, 2024. To share your encouragement and support with Wanda, you can reach her at wanda@wkumchurch.ca.
Please pray for Norm Dyck, MCEC Mission Minister, as he travels internationally over the next few weeks. In the Philippines, he and Matt Tiessen from Leamington United Mennonite Church, will join Mennonite Church Canada Witness workers, Dann and Joji Pantoja and their team, to celebrate the completion of the Malipayon Peace Hub—a peace and reconciliation training and coffee processing centre. Norm will then join a Mennonite World Conference delegation in Thailand to meet with Bible Missionary Church (Mennonite) leaders from Myanmar. Pray for safety, peace and that God’s healing and hope would bring encouragement and inspiration.
Lord, we lift up all who are impacted by war around the world. Bring comfort to those who mourn, healing to those who suffer, and hope to those in despair. Surround the displaced with safety, provide strength to caregivers, and inspire leaders to pursue justice and peace. Let your peace take root in every nation, renewing hearts and guiding us toward reconciliation and an end to all violence.
